Hi, my name is Nicole Anne and I would like to thank you for your interest in my website and work as a photographer. My love for photography began when I was 16 years old and I was gifted a 35mm film camera from a friend. From that moment on, I began to learn as much as I possibly could, photographing landscapes and becoming very interested in the art of black and white photography.

Just out of high school I began working for a company called Portraits by Julie, based out of Fenton, Michigan. I photographed families and children, using medium format equipment and traveling to Detroit and surrounding communities. During my time off, I continued to explore my hobby and it was becoming expensive.

​

That's when I decided to enroll at Washtenaw Community College in Ypsilanti, Michigan to further my education in the art of photography, and learn knowledge on how to run a successful studio business.

​

In 1987, I opened In Focus Photography, now located in Linden, Michigan. My hopes and dreams of one day owning and operating my own studio came true. While I still love location work, especially Wedding Photography, having the studio has allowed me the opportunity to photograph High School Seniors, Family Portraits, Maternity and Children's Photography Sessions, as well as Corporate and Commercial Photography.

Most of my High School Senior sessions are from Genesee County and Livingston County areas, including, Fenton, Lake Fenton, Hartland, Linden, Grand Blanc, Byron, and Holly. I cover a large area for my Wedding Photography and Corporate Photography, including all of South Eastern Michigan.

​

I have been a member of DPPA (Detroit Professional Photographer's Association), PPA (Professional Photographer's of America), and have attended conventions and workshops, where I continue to learn about the art of photography through my peers.

 

My mission is to create timeless memories for you and your families, artistically and creativity, while providing you with the best possible experience and customer service.
